In Dublin a record 300+ venues will open their doors for Culture Night including Christ Church Cathedral, the National Museum of Ireland, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Science Gallery, the Ark, Richmond Barracks, 14 Henrietta Street, the GPO, the Chester Beatty Library and many more.

Culture Night is a hugely important event on the cultural calendar providing people with the opportunity to discover and enjoy the rich cultural offering of the country’s cultural venues at night.

Volunteering with Culture Night
Volunteers are a vital part of the night and we are looking to gather a team of people who would like to take part in this annual event. Volunteering is also an optimal way to make new friends outside of your regular group, make contacts in your field of interest and a chance to do something different.

The main tasks that we will need volunteer assistance for are:

• Assisting with the running of outdoor Culture Night events around Dublin City
• Stewarding on the Culture Night walking tours
• Assisting on Culture Night bus tours
• Assisting at Information Points around the city
• Assisting with the distribution of Culture Night Packs
• Assisting pre festival in the Culture Night Office.

Commitment:
Shifts will generally be between the hours of 4pm/5pm and 10pm, however there will be a few shifts that will take place earlier in the day too.
