To operate, manage, and run a not-for-profit Community Radio station whose management and programming is based on community access and participation.
– To provide education and training to individuals, geographic communities, and communities of interest in order to facilitate a Community Radio service as a medium for community development as well as a medium for community expression.
– To promote inclusion
– To develop personal and professional skills so as to strengthen capacity as community activists and volunteer broadcasters.
– To link community broadcasting, planning, production skills and training with community development needs and activities.
Our programmes reflect the special interests and needs of the listenership of the Dublin 15 Community that it is licensed to serve, and are in line with the community ethos of the BCI licence and the AMARC charter.

What's Involved
Tasks would include participating in observation and training before deciding on specified interests.
We are always looking for presenters and sound technicians for our flagship show "D15 Today". This show would cover a variety of topics and events that happen locally in the D15 area.
If volunteers have more of an interest in the behind the scenes action then the sound desk may be for them.
Research roles are always available for those not wanting to participate in live on air activity.
What's required for this position
We would require our volunteers to be reliable and for them to have a keen interest in media.
Some experience would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
