To provide support for and advocate for lesbian gay bisexual and transgender people in the North East Region of Ireland.
What's Involved
As part of Dundalk Outcomers campaign towards a yes vote to the marriage equality referendum on May 22nd, we require volunteers to assist with canvasing in the following areas: Co. Louth, Co. Monaghan, Co. Meath and Co. Cavan. Participants will be pared within their preferred regions. Campaigning will take place both within shopping centres/ public areas and some door-to-door work.
What's required for this position
Previous canvassing experience is not essential as training and advice will be given. Outgoing/ good social skills are required. A passion for the cause -Whether LGBT or an ally. Own transport is a benefit but not a requirement.
