Cope Foundation supports over 2,800 children and adults of every ability to live ‘Your Life, Your Way’. Since 1957, Cope Foundation has played a vital role in communities right across Cork city and county.
We work to enhance the lives of people with an intellectual disability and/or autism; working in partnership with them, their families and local communities to provide a broad range of person centred services and supports. We provide services in Cork city and county throughout a network of over 70 locations.
What's Involved
Cope Foundation would like a volunteer to play music and sing songs with a group of elderly residents in our retirement home in Montenotte on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons from 2.30 to 4 pm.
What's required for this position
The volunteer will need to be able to play a musical instrument, have good communication skills and an interest in interacting with people who have an intellectual disability.
