About Galway Simon Community
Since 1979, Galway Simon Community has been providing services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We work with people in the areas of homelessness prevention, housing and health & well-being. At Galway Simon Community, we take a housing first approach. Our work is focused on preventing people from having to access homeless services in the first place, and moving them on to independent living as soon as possible if it comes to it. We are an affiliate of the Simon Communities of Ireland comprising of 8 Communities throughout the country.
What's Involved
General shop tasks such as taking in donations, sorting, pricing, merchandising, customer service and till duties.
What's required for this position
Good people skills, attention to detail, good level of spoken English.
