About Cool Planet Experience

The Cool Planet Experience is an exciting & emotive interactive experience which immerses you in climate change, the problems & most importantly, the solutions.

The Cool Planet Experience is a non-profit charitable organisation and visitors centre on a mission to educate, engage and inspire people from all walks of life about Climate Change in an interesting and exciting way. The first of its kind in Ireland, this immersive experience will bring you on an interactive journey where you can learn all about the important challenges facing society today but also engage with the solutions and combat these challenges.

The Cool Planet Experience is an exciting & emotive interactive experience to immerse yourself in climate change, the problems & the solutions. Through interactivity & gaming, learn how to calculate your carbon footprint, the science behind it all & the smart changes we can make to combat climate change.

What's Involved

Do you have what it takes to become a Cool Planet Champion?

Are you passionate about climate change and want to spread the word in your local community & County? If so we want to hear from you!

We are recruiting 50 champions from every county in Ireland! Each champion will receive 2 days free training on climate change & communication from international leaders in the field. Once trained, Champions will go out to their local communities & take climate action by giving an interactive presentation or talk, challenging their local politicians etc.

Applications now open, the deadline is Monday 8th October. The new Cool Planet champions will be announced the following week.

Fluent English

Minimum time commitment: 1 year

Hours required: 2hrs Monthly
