About Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue
The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team are entirely volunteer staffed, providing a professional standard of Mountain Rescue to all of counties Sligo and Leitrim, along with support for other teams around the country whenever requested. We're happy to do what we do to help the public. Our volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They receive no compensation or allowances for their efforts, time and personal expense.
To call a Mountain Rescue Team, use emergency numbers 999 or 112. When asked by the operator which emergency service you need, request the Mountain Rescue.
Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team are affiliated to the Mountain Rescue Ireland and are also an Irish Red Cross Team.Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team volunteer services to people and animals lost or injured in upland areas of Sligo and Leitrim
