About GAZE International LGBT Film Festival
GAZE is a non profit organisation that predominately showcases new and emerging works from the LGBTQ Community both within Ireland and from Aboard by means of our annual Film Festival that takes place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend- through screenings, dialogue and discussion panels as well as various Industry Events outside of the Dublin Constituency and outside of festival dates Nationwide we encourage inclusion, diversity and acceptance through Film and The Arts.
What's Involved
Want to be part of the glitteriest festival in all the land? Applications for the 27th GAZE LGBT Film Festival - August 1st - 5th NOW OPEN. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, genders and orientations. We're not heterophobic :P Our volunteers form an enthusiastic, committed family we like to call the House of Gaze. Celebrate queer cinema, come on!
Our vols razzle dazzle us each year by selflessly giving up their bank holiday weekend to help our audiences cram as much queer cinema as one can into one small weekend. Prepare to be glittered and glued to the screens of Light House for the queerest time of the cinema year! Our programme this year is super strong and muscley (ooh), and in the words of (some people's) gay icon, Right Said Fred, "too sexy for its shirt." Our volunteer team is a diverse bunch from all ages, occupations, identities and backgrounds. They generously give their time helping behind the scenes to bring GAZE to life.

Red line Luas Smithfield stop is a 2 minute walk from the Light House. Any bus stopping on Dame St will bring you close to the IFI and Gutter Book Store.
