Darkness Into Light Sligo Town

About Darkness Into Light Sligo Town

The 'Darkness into Light' 5k walk/run is an annual nationwide event which sees thousands of people walking/running in solidarity with people who have been affected by suicide. This is an event to remember all those who died by suicide throughout the years and involves hundreds of people walking together, from the darkness into the light of dawn. Proceeds go to Pieta House, a Suicide Prevention Charity. The event also helps to make people aware of the support available if they are feeling depressed or suicidal. It is an amazing event to be part of, either as a walker, runner or volunteer.
