We work to build a vibrant DĂșn Laoghaire Rathdown where every person feels connected to their community through active participation in voluntary activities. We do this by supporting people to volunteer and organisations to involve volunteers.

What's Involved

We are looking for someone who can assist and guide us in the design of our new Strategy

DLRVC Strategy:
Our strategy, outlines our plan and vision for volunteering in our area for the next number of years. We want our strategy to be an approachable, welcoming document that is colourful and inviting to readers. We are keen to create something accessible to all readers, be they funders or local people interested in volunteering. We have a number of photographs, quotes and stats, which could be used to create interesting and appealing content, in addition to our strategic aims and objectives.

Template Design
We would like you to help us by designing a professional and attractive document. Our brand guidelines will give a starting point, with our logo and brand colours. The finished document will be used to help us tell our story to funders and encourage local partners to help make our plan a reality. The document may also be printed for use at events etc.

This role is really flexible and can be done at a time of your choosing and can be done remotely from home. With an initial meeting with the Volunteer Centre to help get started. Further meetings or calls can be arranged, as needed.

What's required for this position

This role would suit a creative person with a flair for Graphic Design and practical experience working in design and branding projects.

Access to your own graphic design packages, would be needed.

Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English

Location of volunteering opportunity:
You can work from home, with meetings as needed in our office at 7 Rock Hill, Main St, Blackrock, Co. Dublin
