About Castleknock/Clonsilla No Name Club
No Name Clubs are run by and for young people aged 15 years + who come together in a safe and lively environments where there's fun, friendship and enjoyment without the pressure of alcohol or other drugs.
What's Involved
A volunteer adult leader is required to help run the Castleknock/Clonsilla No Name Club.
Our club members are aged 15-18 and meet up every Thursday 7.30pm-9.30pm night between September & May to play games, computers and plan their various trips and events.
The leader will help other leaders to facilitate various activities of the group. Volunteers are asked to help out one or two Thursday per month.
No Name Clubs are involved with community initiatives and works closely with State agencies such as An Garda Síochána, the Road Safety Authority and the HSE.
The club members take part in regional and national competitions that allow them to showcase their talents to wider audiences and among their peers.
Our adults leaders are provided with training such as an Induction to the No Name Club and in Child Protection Awareness and are making a very valuable and worthy contribution to Irish Society.
What's required for this position
You need to be fun, flexible, engaging and capable of a good laugh with a group of teenagers.
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
