About The Plough Youth Club
We provide a well organised training, educational and recreational centre for young people in the Ballymun area from the ages of 4 to 18. We also provide volunteers with an opportunity to develop vocational skills, and improve their CV.
What's Involved
Would you like to get more involved in your community and help support a busy youth club? You will be working with young people on a prepared educational programme.
Post Covid Youth Club Activities:
Homework support, Arts and Crafts, Computers, Photography, Woodwork, Metalwork, Swimming, Karting, Hill Walking etc.
The Plough Youth Club is now open 20 hours minimum each week.
We are doing an all-day Summer Project from the 4th to the 8th of July inclusive.
Each day we will do an outdoor trip and some arts and crafts.
We are open each day from 10am to 12pm in the mornings and on Wed, Thur. and Fri. from 5.30 pm to 8.30pm.
Some weekend trips also.
The Ballymun East Child and Youth Centre Activities are in Woodhazel Close on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6pm to 7.30pm. The Wednesday night is for boys only and the Thursday night is for girls only. Both are for ages 7 to 17 years. The Swimming classes take place in Ballymun Sports and Leisure Centre on Friday night from 6pm to 7pm, and are for both boys and girls aged 4 to 17 years.
