About Amnesty International Ireland
Amnesty International Ireland is the country’s largest human rights organisation with over 15,000 members and supporters. We are part of a global movement of over 3.2 million people working in more than 150 countries around the world. Our sole concern is the protection of the fundamental human rights guaranteed to each one of us by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
What's Involved
We are looking for volunteers to help us raise funds for human rights this summer in partnership with the Workers Beer Company. The work involves working at the bars at some of the biggest gigs and festivals this summer such as Longitude and Electric Picnic and the hourly wage is donated to Amnesty.
You will get free entry to the festival and free transport from city centres (Cork and Dublin). Depending on the concert, camping may be provided. Shifts range from 4-6 hours. When your shift finishes up you get to enjoy the music, have a free pint or two and pat yourself on the back for making a genuine contribution to human rights. All volunteers must be 18 years old or over.
