About Irish Cancer Society
The Irish Cancer Society is the national charity dedicated to preventing cancer, saving lives from cancer and improving the quality of life of those living with cancer through patient care, research and education. The main work of the Society is the delivery of nursing services to patients with cancer throughout Ireland, including funding hospital based Oncology Liaison Nurses, community based Night Nursing for patients in their home, and Home Care Nursing teams. The Society also operates a FreeFone Cancer Helpline, staffed by fully qualified nurses, and is the largest single voluntary supporter of cancer research in Ireland.
What's Involved
Working on the shop floor and sorting room, maintaining shop floor standards. Serving and interacting with customers. Hanging, tagging and steaming clothes in the sorting room.
We would like assistance for a minimum of 3 hours, from 10.30am to 1.30pm and/or from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
