What's Involved
Working alongside the Barnardos Volunteer Coordinator we are looking for an administration support volunteer to:
1. Assist with the handling of requests from potential volunteers, students seeking placement and work experience candidates courteously and efficiently;
2. Assist in replying in an efficient friendly and approachable manner to all communications with the service i.e. by post, email, telephone etc.;
3. Provide efficient and accurate administration support to the service utilising relevant IT packages (Microsoft outlook, word, excel), ensuring documents are presented and formatted to a high standard;
4. Assist in maintaining an up to date and effective filing system within the principles of data protection; assist in preparation and collation of relevant support materials for volunteers.
What's required for this position
Excellent English (both spoken and written)
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Confident (dealing with general queries – following training)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
Interest or experience in office administration & volunteering
Awareness of confidentiality

Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English
