About Cara Cancer Support Centre
Cara Cancer Support Centre provides a supportive, tranquil environment for cancer patients and their families There is always a trained Volunteer with a Listening Ear at Cara Cancer Support Centre. You can avail of such Therapies as Tai Chi, Spiritual Healing, Qi Energy, Reflexology, 1 to 1 Counselling and much more.
What's Involved
Volunteer is required to o provide reflexology to individuals attending the centre.
Cara Cancer Support Centre provides a haven for those affected by cancer and their loved ones
All volunteers with Cara must undergo Core training and manual handling training to be legally allowed to be within the centre. This will be provided by Cara to volunteers that are willing to give a commitment to the centre.
What's required for this position
For one to be registered with a recognised training register, to have up to date certification.
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
Minimum time commitment: 1 year
Hours required: 2hrs Weekly
