Family Day Festival on Saturday 19 May 2018, 1 – 5pm, Smithfield Square, Dublin 7.
Our message of ‘Celebrate Your Family – Celebrate All Families’ is embraced in a fun, welcoming atmosphere at our annual Family Day Festival bringing vibrancy to Smithfield Square in Dublin 7 on Saturday 19 May, 1-5pm.
This free day of festivities is family friendly and all-inclusive. A range of entertainment and activities from arts and craft workshops to magicians to storytelling are offered with something for all members of the family.
What’s involved?
We are seeking volunteers to work with the One Family team to help with meeting and greeting, performer assistance, the games, crafts and activity areas, event set up and tidy up, information and stewarding. It is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer.
What's required for this position
Friendly and enthusiastic volunteers required. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age. Experience in event management or festival work is not essential.
The event runs from 1-5pm but volunteering opportunities are available throughout the day.
