About Respond - St. Francis Gardens Day Care Centre over 65's
Respond - Cork aim to look after the elderly in the parish and locality. Their Community Development objective is to support integrated local economic and social development through programmes that counter disadvantage and promote inclusion and participation of people.
Their role as staff members at Respond is to ensure progression through use of programmed events, education and applied community resources to get people involved in their local community.
What's Involved
Repsond are looking for a volunteer with musical skills to come along to their Day Care Centre and entertain their active elderly clients by playing some traditional music for them.
If you are free once or twice a month any weekday for an hour or two at either 11 am or 2 pm they would be delighted to hear from you.
What's required for this position
Volunteer must have the ability to play traditional music (on volunteer's own instrument) such as the keyboard, guitar, bodhran or accordion.
