About Teach Mhuire
Cuan Mhuire is provider of Rehabilitation Treatment for individuals suffering from addiction. Its main objective is the rehabilitation of persons suffering from alcohol, drug and gambling addictions.
What's Involved
The Divine Mercy Soup Run is looking for volunteers to help out on its soup run. The soup run takes place every Tuesday and Friday evenings.
The team of volunteers assemble at Teach Mhuire at 8.00pm and leave shortly before 9pm. The soup runs return to Teach Mhuire by approximately 11pm, although that can be later or earlier, depending on the evening, how many people are out and who we meet.
Each team is led by an experienced guide and volunteers are expected to help distribute soup, tea, sandwiches.
What's required for this position
No specific skills required, just patient and empathetic people.
