What's Involved
If you have two hours to spare to volunteer your time we would love to hear from you, as we need your help on Lollipop Day 2020 which falls across Friday 28th and Saturday 29th February.
We chose the lollipop as our charity’s symbol because we want to raise awareness and educate the public that difficulty swallowing is one of the key symptoms of Oesophageal Cancer.
We simply cannot make the difference we do, without our immensely successful nationwide annual fundraising days, known as Lollipop Day. Every Springtime, we take to the nations’ streets with our enthusiastic army of volunteers -of all ages- generously offering their time and energy helping us bring the good fight to a bad cancer.
What's required for this position
Across 48 hours, a hot-pink phenomenon occurs, an outpouring of goodwill, sharing, fun and commitment as our team work tirelessly selling €3 lollipops.
Our volunteers inform about the symptoms, while they raise much-needed funds, provide a friendly face and sweet treat to members of the public.
