About Swords Intercultural Festival
Swords Intercultural Festival Group is a Community Group promoting and developing intercultural activities and events in Swords and its environs through the medium of traditional music, dance and dress from the many nationalities that now live, work and play in Swords and the surrounding areas.
The aim of the group is to promote social and cultural awareness of the diversity and cultures of our community. To foster and encourage social integration and to further a greater sense of health and well-being.
We wish to bring people together in a safe social setting to enjoy each other’s company, taste each other’s food and to enjoy the music and dance.
What's Involved
We will have a bag packing fundraiser at Tesco Holywell (Swords) Friday 31 May 5pm-10pm and Saturday 1st June 12pm-7pm these times may slightly change so please let us know what slots you can make.
What's required for this position
Be able to stand and pack grocery bags at the supermarket tills.
We are looking for bubbly people to join us for a few hours armed with their smiles and enthusiasm!
