About The Irish Hospice Foundation
The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) is a national charity dedicated to all matters relating to dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. Its vision is that no one should face death or bereavement without the care and support they need. Its mission is to achieve dignity, comfort and choice for everyone facing end-of-life. The IHF campaigns for hospice practices and principles to be more consistent nationwide.
What's Involved
This is a joint fundraiser with The Irish Hospice Foundation (Sharon Foley) and her daughter who is fundraising for Habitat for Humanity. We plan to bag pack for about 6 hours per day - Friday and Saturday. If you could give us 2 or 3 hours of your time, we would be eternally grateful.The work will be bagpacking in the grocery section of Marks and Spencers on Grafton Street. We would like persons who are mature and can help us out.
This event is happening on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th April in Marks and Spencer, Grafton Street, Dublin 2.
What's required for this position
Being able to pack groceries - veg in one bag, frozen food in another, keep meat separate etc.
