About Tipperary Talking Newspapers
We provide an abridged version of news items from local newspapers in audio format on USB sticks which are then distributed weekly to Blind and visually impaired clients throughout Tipperary and beyond.
What's Involved
• The downloading of the recordings to the archieve on the office PC from the recording unit.
• duplicating of the recordings to a master USB memory stick which is then used to duplicate copies on a multicopier for all clients on the mailing list.
• Checking off mailing list.
• organising incoming returned wallets, USb memory Sticks and putting them in storage for the coming week.
• Packaging and posting of USB memory sticks and mailing out.
• Erasing and formatting of USB memory Sticks.
What's required for this position
• Ability and Knowledge of computers and technology generally.
• Dependable
Level of English required for this role:
