About Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC)
ISPCC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people; they are at the heart of everything we do.
Our child-centered services, programmes and supports are focused on strengthening resilience and developing coping competencies. By listening to, supporting and empowering children and young people, we strive to ensure they are better equipped to face life’s ups and downs and reach their full potential.
We speak out and advocate for meaningful change that will enhance their lives today and leave a legacy of improved childhood experiences for future generations of children and young people.
What's Involved
Can you help ISPCC Childline raise funds on our National Collection Day? ISPCC Childline is holding its third National Collection Day - Childline Change 2019 - on Friday May 17th. We are reaching out to people of all ages to commit a few hours to shaking a bucket to raise vital funds for Childline. ISPCC Childline is the only service listening to children and young people in Ireland 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The service answers over 350,000 contacts every year from children and young people who may feel as though they have nowhere else to turn. Childline lets children know they are important and that they matter. A call to Childline can change a child’s life.
ISPCC Childline relies on public and corporate support to provide more than 90 per cent of this funding.
ISPCC Childline fundraisers, therefore, are essential to the charity. Without your support we could not be here to support the children and young people of Ireland.
