About Crosscare
Crosscare is the social care agency of the Dublin Archdiocese delivering services to those who need them most within the greater Dublin area, working to relieve poverty and serve the needs of the poor and marginalised in the Archdiocese of Dublin.
We offer a range of programmes based on innovative approaches to meet new and emerging needs for those affected by homelessness, the needs of young people, and the development of community driven services.
What's Involved
When Covid-19 restrictions have been fully lifted, we will be involving volunteers again.
Can you help us provide a confidential interpreting service through Somali and English for clients who attend our Somali Interpreting Clinics?
Clinics take place fortnightly on Thursdays from 2-4pm. You will be assisting Information and Advocacy Officers in providing an information and advocacy service to clients who present to our clinics through Somali and English. You may also be asked to assist with translation of information leaflets and documents when required.
What's required for this position
Fluent Somali and English.
