What's Involved
Fostering is the ultimate act of volunteering Individuals and families of all backgrounds and culture are welcome to inquire . There is a urgent need for foster families for children 0-12 years for emergency , respite and long term care .
It is essential individuals or families have the time and space to care for a child . A spare room is required and if you have children that they are over 3 years of age .
24hr support & full training is provided . A full assessment which takes 16 weeks including Garda vetting & background checks are required.
What's required for this position
Enjoys children and young people , is open minded and non judgmental, has empathy , patience , can work with others, good communication skills and sense of humor
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
