About EmployAbility Service Kildare
EmployAbility Kildare is one of 23 National Supported Employment organisations, funded by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. Our Aim is to provide supports to people who have been out of work through illness, injury or disability to enter or re enter paid employment in the work force. This service is provided free to unemployed people with disability across county Kildare.
What's Involved
KCSE CLG. (T/a EmployAbility Kildare) provides support to people who have been out of work through illness, injury or disability to enter or re-enter the workforce.This is a free service to job seekers and to employers looking to recruit staff. We are funded by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection to deliver this service in County Kildare. We are one of 23 national Supported Employment organisations. At present we are looking to recruit a number of non-executive Directors to our board of management. The board meets 5 times per year. The board of directors are responsible for providing leadership, setting overall strategy, monitoring budgets and organisational outcomes. The Directors bring to the board their significant business and decision making skills gained in their respective fields together with a broad range of views and experience.
What's required for this position
Directors come from a wide variety of backgrounds and bring with them a variety of skills, knowledge and experience. Past and present Directors came from Human Resource Management, Financial Services, Education, Engineering and Industry, Retail, Social Services, Transport and from Economic and Social Partnerships. The wealth of experience which these members bring to the table is immense and varied with a focus on quality of service delivery.
